Chrysalis Psychotherapy Center opened in 1982 to provide quality psychotherapy at affordable costs. Today that mission is still the mainstay of the practice.
Chrysalis is a 'fee for service' organization; therapy sessions are paid for directly by the client. When insurance companies are involved, they dictate the number of therapy sessions and may require detailed reports on individuals progress. By not using insurance Chrysalis provides services that meet the specific needs of the individual, in a completely confidential setting, protecting the privacy of the client. All decisions regarding therapy are made by the client and the therapist and are tailored to individual problems and goals.
Chrysalis offers a sliding scale. Each client is asked to determine the amount within the fee range, which best fits their budget. The fee range is $30 - $95. Chrysalis is dedicated to providing therapy services at affordable prices.
The importance of a fit between therapist and client is essential for maximum therapeutic benefits. A free initial consultation session is provided, to determine if the relationship will be both comfortable and productive.
As a community service, Chrysalis offers six free therapy sessions to parents who have experienced the death of a child, regardless of the age of the child.
