It is with great honor we offer our services to you, your family, and friends. At Brooklawn, we are proud to claim ourselves as one of Connecticuts best kept secrets. As such will be evident from the moment you call and speak with owner and operator, Luke DiMaria. Brooklawn is a family-owned business, and by virtue of such, a level of faith, caring, and true commitment to your needs and wishes are forthrightly evident.
At Brooklawn, tradition takes precedence. We warmly share our valued traditionalism with each family whom honors us in selecting our services. As Mr. DiMaria residence is adjoined to the funeral home, you can rest-assured that you will have a level of attention unmatched by others; and equally comforting your loved one will never be alone. It is this coupled with heart-felt guidance, support, honesty, and fairness that allow Brooklawn to be set apart from all other funeral homes.
Lastly, please know should you need additional information or are interested in discussing our services further; we welcome the opportunity to share our home with you. Please feel free to contact us as it would be an honor to serve you.
History & Background:
Laraia-Sagarino Funeral Home of Front Street, Hartford, Connecticut, opened their doors in 1921. By the mid-1940s, this establishment relocated to nearby Washington Street. In 1963m Joseph Giuliano became a partner thus creating the Giuliano-Sagarino Funeral Home. In honor of his name-sake, in 1994 Luke DiMaria (Sagarino) opened the doors of Brooklawn Funeral Home in Rocky Hill. The Giuliano-Sagarino name is one we display with pride.
