O'brien's is a friendly neighborhood caf that offers a wide variety of mouthwatering homemade comfort foods, 20 high definition TVs for watching every sport, including NFL & college football, NBA, NHL and MLB games, live entertainment on Saturday nights and themed parties for holidays, special events and championship games.
The staff is friendly and professional, the food is prepared with the freshest ingredients and we are conveniently located accross the bridge from Westerly, RI on the Pawcatuck River. Our chef Mike Gavitt keeps fans coming back with delicious, made from scratch soups and stews while supervising a staff that serves up favorites like philly cheese steaks, charbroiled burgers, chicken wings, nachos, sandwiches, fresh made salads and flatbread pizza. We also offer daily specials that include our monster ribeye steak and beer battered fish and chips. If you haven't tried our food, you don't know what you're missing!
The atmosphere is casual and we offer high top tables in the lower level pub area, while the upper level has booths with individual TVs, billiards tables for a friendly game of pool and three authentic dart boards. At 9:30 on Saturday nights the the pub is transformed into the area's hottest venue for live bands, and there is never a cover charge.
Irish favorites Guinness, Harp and Smithwicks lead the pack of 28 draught beers on tap. We feature seasonal brews and local favorite Cottrell Old Yankee Ale, as well as New England classics such as Sam Adams and Long Trail. Our full bar serves up delicious concoctions like margaritas, cosmopolitans, classic cocktails and signature martinis.
