“Hope for Haiti” will be presented at UConn Stamford in the Schreiber Reading Room (2nd floor) at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 18, 2010. This is an opportunity to learn more about the schools and clinics in L’Acul, Haiti and Port-au-Prince after the 2010 Earthquake. Model Railroad Club 71st Annual Holiday Open House
The Stamford Model Railroad Club opens its doors to the public only 3 times a year between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Other dates are: Saturday, Dec. 4th ~ 1:00-5:00 p.m. & 7:00-9:00 p.m.; Sunday, Dec. 5th ~ 4:30-5:30 p.m. & 6:30-7:30 p.m. Admission is: Adults-$5, Children-$4, and Children under 5 years of age-FREE.

Christmas time is the season for giving. Giving of ourselves to each other. It is in that spirit that St. John's Episcopal Church offers the gift of its Christmas show for the 18th year. This event brings together the diverse talents of St. John's community, and l'Eglise de l'Epiphanie to tell the story of The Holy Family and the first Christmas. Admission is free with a ticket and a gift: canned, dried goods or a toy donation for St. Luke's Lifeworks. For tickets, please contact Sandie in the parish office at (203) 348-2619 ext 10.

Monday Evenings ~ Adult Bible Study ~ 7:30 p.m.
The Monday night Bible study and Prayer Group meets every Monday from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. for fellowship and Bible study. All are welcome! Contact the parish office 203-348-2619 ext. 10 for more information.
