CONNECTICUT CENTER FOR CONTINENCE
The Connecticut Center for Continence (CCC) opened in 1996 as the state's first and only facility dedicated to the comprehensive management of urinary incontinence and launched the state's first Continence Patient's Guide. Our efforts have been rewarded with enthusiastic public and media support. We were highlighted in the May 1997 issue of the CONNECTICUT Magazine. Since then CCC has also been recognized as a national role model by HCFA and MGMA.
The Connecticut Center for Continence has expanded its service area to New York and Rhode Island. As our goal has been to make Connecticut a dry state, we now believe "Let's Make New York a Dry State" and "Let's Make Rhode Island a Dry State".
At CCC we acknowledge that there is no one, single treatment for incontinence. We combine modern diagnostic and therapeutic techniques to provide our patients with as many options as possible. These include pharmacologic, behavioral, and surgical therapies.
Our society is becoming increasingly sophisticated and to meet their demand for knowledge we regularly participate in educational forums via seminars to patient advocacy groups, health fairs, and through our support group.
Lastly, we are proud members of the largest urologic research organization in the country - AmericasDoctor. Those patients who qualify have the option of participating in FDA-scrutinized clinical trials.
